SCOPE OF WORK
This system automatically assembles and verifies the completion of the Planetary Carrier Assembly.
SOLUTION
Conveyance of Parts Palletized conveyor for assembling the gear stack. Automatically loading washers and gears.
Verification Stations Throughout the system there will be verification stations to confirm parts are to specification.
Robot Transport Robots will be used to transfer components and part between stations to complete the carrier assembly.
Controls Station A HMI, Controls plate with electrical and pneumatic components give operator full controls function throughout the system.

Fully automated planetary carrier assembly line, from raw carrier infeed through final pin press, staking, and vision verification.
Dual robotic cells transfer carriers between stations via a shared hand-off stand, keeping the line moving without manual transfer.
Automated gear and washer loading stations sized for multiple part variants on a single line.
Servo-driven press stations for precision pin pressing and gear staking, with integrated torque and calibration monitoring at each press.
Automated freeness testing to confirm proper carrier assembly before a part is accepted
Manual backup stations built into the line, allowing production to continue if an automated station is bypassed.
Integrated reject handling, automatically routing failed parts to a rework or teardown station rather than stopping the line.
Integrated interlocking guard doors throughout the system.
